CS/DS-1 Model

The CS/DS-1 Model is the base model for Crosshole or Downhole Seismic testing. This system includes one triaxial geophone and one accelerometer allowing for direct path measurements associated with each set of impacts, either in the borehole (CS) or on the surface (DS). Specifically, this system can be used to test the material between the impact and the receiver’s location in the borehole. Most cost effective system for DS testing.

CS/DS-2 Model
Description: Test For: Applicable On:

The CS/DS-2 Model includes two geophones and an accelerometer, allowing for dual path measurements associated with each set of impacts, either in the borehole or on the surface. Specifically, this system can be used to test the material between the impact and the receivers’ location in the borehole(s). This DS-2 system performs the same testing as the DS-1 system in half the time. Most time-effective CS system available.

Optional PS-V Source
Description: Test For: Applicable On:

The PS-V Source allows for accurate and rapid triggering in CS testing by directly impacting the borehole casing.

The source is configured for use with the models mentioned above. Most time effective CS system available.

Description: Test For: Applicable On:

Allows the user to perform and display tomographic inversions of CS/DS seismic velocity data which provides 2D or 3D shear or compressional wave velocity images of soil and rock.
